Rain in the Alps has interrupted flying, and a water-logged airfield prevented any launching yesterday. Conditions today meant that flying was largely confined to the local area, although it was busy with everyone keen to get airborne.

Whilst Alun took Norm under his wing for a trip in R22……

There was some flying.  Launching to Malaup 10k to the south of Sisteron, Ian took 26……

……and new club member Adey Hobson, with instructor Tim Davies, took his first trip into the mountains in Duo Discus KP,E pictured here by Ian in 26.

Weather forecast over the next couple of days is not looking brilliant so let’s just hope that the Parcours remains on course.

BTW, HE was clearly in charge on the launch point today - “INSTRUCTIONS”🤣🤣……

……where he was ably assisted on the launch point by ex-club member Dr Josh (he’s the young one pulling, not the old lad in the cockpit!)
