Blue skies and a great day out at Shawbury on which we completed 27 flights with nearly 15 hours of flying time.
The Showers Didn’t Stop Us
Despite showers being forecast for early afternoon, we were determined not to let them dampen any spirits, and through much determination and patience, aided by overwhelming amounts of cake, a full day of aviation was successfully commited.

Despite our best endeavours to get the two K21s and a tug out to the launch point before a front arrived, we were thwarted by the increasing wind speed. With gusts in excess of 30kts we scrubbed. But the day was not wasted.
We Mist Being On The Airfield
The forecast initially suggested whilst mist would dampen any chances of flying in the morning, there would be a clearing from midday onwards that would allow aviation to be accomplished.
